Nicholas Christopher Gilliard is the 2016-2017 Teen President of the Charleston South Carolina Chapter of Jack and Jill of America, Inc. and has been a member since 2006.
Nick is a rising senior at Pinewood Preparatory School in Summerville, SC and has achieved Straight A’s for his entire academic career. He is also a recognized athlete statewide and holds multiple school records in Track & Field.
He is the 2016 Mayor of Wando City at Palmetto Boys State, 2016 Junior Mr. Beau of the Charleston Youth Leadership Council and is one of the founding members of The Charleston Future Leaders Roundtable of The Links, Incorporated (SC) - Charleston Chapter.
Most importantly, Nick founded an important and impactful organization -- Life Over Violence Epidemic (LOVE) to improve interactions between civilians and officers. LOVE seeks to create understanding and unity between youth and law enforcement through training which enforces youth education on proper conduct & civilian’s rights as well as positive conversations with off-duty officers.
His dream is for EVERYONE to JOIN The LOVE Movement!
